My watercolor classes focus on techniques in painting still life, landscape, botanical and abstract subjects.

Spring term watercolor class registration is now open for beginner and intermediate classes, in-person and online.

Beginning Watercolor Classes, in-person only

Tuesdays, starting April 1, 12:45 PM to 2:45 PM, 5 sessions at the New Art Center in Newtonville, MA.

Thursdays, starting March 20, 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM, 7 sessions at the Mosesian Center for the Arts in Watertown, MA

Intermediate Watercolor Classes, online and in-person

In-person, Tuesdays, starting April 1, 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM, 5 sessions at the New Art Center in Newtonville, MA

Online, Mondays, starting March 31, 9:15 AM to 11:45 AM, 6 sessions on Zoom. Register at the New Art Center.

Online, Mondays, starting March 31, 12:30 PM to 3 PM, 6 sessions on Zoom. Register at the New Art Center.

Demonstrations for beginner classes are done in-person at the beginning of class. Intermediate classes will combine independent project sessions where students develop projects of their choice and other classes will include a live demo for a suggested project. Students who prefer more directed study will have access to video demos in the Tutorials section of this website. Students who have to miss a class can work from videos on their own time and submit images of work in progress for feedback.
